Turkey Bolognese

IMG_2035This recipe is so easy and so good! Filled with protein and fiber so just one bowl keeps you full and satisfied. I make a huge pot of this and keep it in the fridge or freeze it for the week. It takes one pot, 5 ingredients, and only 20 minutes to make.

What you need:

1 onion, chopped.

1-2 cups peas

1 lb ground turkey

1 jar of garlic basil tomato sauce (you can usually find this in any brand)

2-3 handfuls of Spinach (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

salt/pepper

Combine onion, peas, and ground turkey in large pot with 1 tbsp olive oil. stir until turkey is completely cooked and add tomato sauce and salt and pepper. Then, add spinach (optional.) That’s it. This recipe come out more meaty and less like a pasta sauce but if you want to serve it over pasta you can add another 1/2 jar of tomato sauce. Personally, I eat this without any pasta and really don’t miss it but it is totally up to you 😉
